Kittens should receive their first set of vaccines at 8 weeks of age.

How often does my kitten need to be vaccinated?

Kittens should be vaccinated at 8, 12 and 16 weeks and then receive a booster at 1 year.

Does my kitten only need core vaccines?

At McKnight, core vaccines include The FVRCP (Core vaccines include Panleukopenia (Feline Distemper), Feline Calicivirus, Feline Herpesvirus (Rhinotracheitis), Feline Leukemia, and Rabies are all important vaccines to have.
